At Futswap, we firmly believe that knowledge is the foundation for building a brighter and more sustainable future. That’s why, as part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), we created Futswap LAB, a program designed to share our expertise and empower communities through education. On December 17, 2024, we shared an event in the town of Donmatías, located in the North of the Antioquia region in Colombia. It was a day full of learning, experiences, and a powerful reminder of the transformative potential of shared knowledge.
An Unforgettable Day in Donmatías
The event brought together over 60 young people from the nine subregions of Antioquia, a region renowned for its cultural richness, entrepreneurial spirit, and potential to lead positive change. During this day, we covered essential topics such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, blockchain, digital assets, and digital finance. Our goal was clear: to provide practical tools and knowledge to help these young people face today’s challenges and seize the opportunities offered by technology.
The town of Donmatías, known for its warm hospitality and commitment to progress, was the perfect setting for this gathering. The energy and enthusiasm of the participants created a collaborative learning environment where every session became a space for exchanging ideas and building community. From discussions on effectively managing personal finances to exploring blockchain’s potential to transform industries, every topic was designed to inspire and empower the youth.
The Partnership with Antioquia LAB: A Bridge to Knowledge
One of the fundamental pillars that made this event possible was our partnership with Antioquia LAB, a regional initiative dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and education in emerging technologies. Antioquia LAB shared our vision that education is key to transforming lives and communities, and together we designed a program tailored to the needs and aspirations of the participants.
This partnership also allowed us to leverage local resources and establish connections that will strengthen future projects.
